Visita Iglesia 2009 (Part 1)

After we tried for two years to visit all the churches here in Laguna, the family is always anticipating the Holy Week especially Holy Thursday.

Usually, since we were all new in the place, we have to went back to Manila to do Visita Iglesia during our first year in Calamba.

When we tried to venture to have a Visita Iglesia in Laguna just by reading directions using internet, we successfully explore it.

Our routine would start from the fartest then to the nearest of the churches in Calamba. Our first stop is Liliw, Laguna.

First thing we always do is to light up candles and offer intercessions to our loved ones....

Our visit in Liliw will never be completed visiting the different shoe stores around where prices ranges from P 70 to P 300.

Venture in this Place

Ever since I left Manila last seven years ago, it was a bit saddened. Relatives and friends will be left behind.

New adventure awaited us, transferring what we call HOME here in Calamba, Laguna.

Here we can meet more challenges, create a community on our own, building relationship, a sort of NEW LIFE.

It was a bit adjustments and what we did in our few year was just to go in our usual routine- HOME, OFFICE.. HOME, OFFICE....HOME OFFICE....

Until later last two years when our family venture to explore CALAMBA. The place is enormous as I can say. Everytime I go outside, this is the usual scenery.

No one even told us that this place is really great for me especially to my family.

That gives me an idea of creating this blog.

The objective of this portal travel blog, Calamba-Online (http://www.calamba-online.com/) is to fully explore the beauty and wonder of Calamba based on my personal point of view. On my first few years here, no one ever told me how beautiful the place is.

This would also showcase travel tips focusing best and popular destinations of Calamba which include places, people, customs, resorts and cuisine. Definitely, since our family love photography, it would definitely also be an expression of our talent.

With this objective, it would educate travelers not only here in the Philippines but also around the world who likes adventure, fun and learning.
